Lions Street Fair

2004 Street Fair
Just one block of our 19 block street fair

The hallmark of our Festival.  Walk through this huge street fair with over 600 vendors from around the country featuring great food, handcrafted items, and commercial vendors.  Named in honor of Kent Lion Wayne Hobbs, now deceased, for all the years of work establishing this event.

2007 Kent Farmers Market

Every year as part of Kent Cornucopia Days we include our very own Kent Farmers Market as part of the Festival.  This event which runs from June through September is a long standing part of our Festival.  See our web site at www.kentfarmersmarket.com for more information.


Kent Cornucopia Fine Crafts Market Area at the Kent Station

This portion of Kent Cornucopia Days is produced by Kent Parks, Recreation and Community Services, the Market Place is for crafts people and artists specializing in handcrafted items only.  The objective is to create a colorful, balanced and varied selection of high quality handmade crafts and artwork at the festival.  The Fine Crafts Market Area is located outside near the Kent Station, Kent’s new retail and entertainment destination.

Kent Cornucopia Days 5K Fun Run


Our 2005 race

The 4th annual "Cornucopia Fun Run" is a event at Kent Cornucopia Days that is being provided by the City of Kent and is sponsored by the Kent Lions Club.

that is open to the public. 
Saturday only.


King County Jaguars "Cornucopia" Football Game


 

Our newest addition to the Kent Cornucopia Days Festival Family.  The King County Jaguars are a proud participant of the 2007 Kent Cornucopia Days.  This game will be played at Auburn High School (French Field is under construction this summer).  Open to the public.

Kent Cornucopia Days Skateboard and Inline Skate Tournaments

At our very own Lions Skate Park.  Join some the best regional talent for this outstanding tournament.  Skateboard & Inline competition is on Saturday.  Prizes, entertainment, and lots of fun.  For more information, click the "Skate Tourney" tab.

Kent Cornucopia Scholarship Pageant

Our very own Miss Cornucopia represents the Kent Cornucopia Days Festival, the Kent Lions Club, the City of Kent, and the Greater Kent Community.   The Kent Historical Society also selects our very own "Old Timers King & Queen.  Click on the "Cornucopia Royalty" tab for more information.  Our pageant is in May.

2007 City of Kent's "4th of July Splash"

Fourth of July Splash

Enjoy this full day of activity at Lake Meridian featuring food, crafts, entertainment, and tons of games.  The Kent Lions will be there with our "Dragon Boat".  There will also be the annual huge fireworks display and boat parade.  This is a City of Kent event that is sponsored in part by the
Kent Lions Club and Kent Cornucopia Days.

Kent Cornucopia Carnival

We also have a full size carnival and midway.  Provided by Funtastic Shows.  There is a giant midway and over 20 rides including a section dedicated to young kids.

 Grand Parade

See South King County's largest parade with over 100 entry's.  The Children's parade leads off the Grand Parade.  Includes the SEAFAIR Pirates, royalty from around Puget Sound, floats and bands.  For more information, click the "Grand Parade" tab.

 


Children's Area

A fun and interactive destination designed especially for kids and offering an array of activities to keep the youngest festival-goers entertained and educated.  Hands-on arts and crafts projects and workshops give kids the opportunity to work with and learn from professional artists.  Located between the AMC Theaters at Kent Station and the Sound Transit Parking Garage.

 


Juried Fine Art Show

Displays of fine art by local and regional artists are exhibited on the first floor of the Centennal Building (next to City Hall).  The show will contain anywhere from 75 to 100 two-dimensional works ranging from paintings, drawings, original prints and photography, all produced and submitted by Northwest artists.

 

 


Lions Health Fair

Visit the Lions Health Unit and be tested for eyesight, hearing, diabetes, blood pressure and other health needs.   Donated by the members of the Kent Lions Club.  Saturday only.

 

"Lions" Bingo

Bingo returns with "Lions Bingo" at the Titus Railroad Park on 1st and Titus Street.  All 3 days.

 

Bighorn Brewery and the Ram Restaurant Beer Garden

The Cornucopia Beer Garden will be back again this year, next to the Gazebo Stage in Burlington Green Park.  All 3 days.

 

Kent Police & Fire Departments Safety Fair

Our annual display of Kent's Fire and Police vehicles & programs.  View Fire trucks and cars, police units and DARE cars.  On Railroad Ave between Meeker and Gowe.  All 3 days.

 

Military Display

The Army, Navy, and Air Force bring out lots of their equipment for display.  Kids just love climbing over Humvee's, Bradley Fighting Vehicles and hands on looks and instruction of small arms.   Right next to the Kent Safety Fair.  All 3 days.

 

Kent Valley Artist's "Art Show"

The "Kent Valley Artists" provide us with our annual Kent Cornucopia Art Show, in the Rose Garden Park (1st & Meeker).  All 3 days.
