Kent Youth Soccer Association 9th Annual “Cornucopia Cup"

Again this year the Kent Youth Soccer Association is proud to bring you the 9th annual Kent Cornucopia Cup soccer tournament hosted in Kent, Washington from July 10th through July 13th for the U-11 to U-16 age groups. This tournament continues to bring in over 100 boys and girls teams from throughout the area to the soccer fields in Kent. Our tournament committee is very excited to bring you one of the highest quality tournaments in the area again this year.  This year was a popular year for the tournament; we maxed out the number of teams that the tournament can hold (due to field space) two weeks before the registration deadline.  We had to turn away many teams this year, due to the field space, so please be sure to sign up early next year.

Tournament Dates:   July 10 - July 13, 2008 (Thursday - Sunday)

Tournament Location:  Fields and schools in the area of Kent, WA:  Pea Patch fields, Wilson Fields, Kent Meridian High School, Meridian Middle School, Millennium Elementary, & Auburn Mountainview High School. 

Classification is Competitive Select and is Sanctioned By: Washington State Youth Soccer Association (WSYSA)

Team Selection:  The Kent Cornucopia Cup registrar will accept properly completed tournament application forms at any time, up to the application deadline date. Please be advised that certain divisions may fill up prior to the deadline date, so get your applications in early.

Age Groups: U-11 to U-16 (Boys and Girls)

Format: Teams will play in a four team matrix whenever possible and be guaranteed at least four (4) scheduled games. We reserve the right to combine or modify age divisions should the need arise to balance competition and/or brackets.

Awards:  1st and 2nd place winners in each division will receive awards. All roster players and coaches will receive a tournament memento.

Entry Fee:   Please complete and return to the Tournament Registrar with entry fee of $450  (US) for U-12 and older, and $400 (US) for U-11, by check or money order made payable to Kent Cornucopia Cup prior to the application deadline.

Application Deadline:  June 15, 2008.  Refunds will be available to teams withdrawing before registration deadline.Schedules:  We anticipate schedules to be made available to you no later then June 26, 2008
